Could Fear For Our Safety Change How & Where We Shop?

With an increasingly dangerous world we stop to wonder, could fear for our personal safety drive the online shopping market? Companies like Amazon become more appealing when safety has now become our top priority.

Retail Always Changes So Whats Next?


It seems we live in an increasingly digital age. Could this digital shopping experience be driven by....A New Theme.....Personal Safety?


We have to wonder when its not safe to do what we always took for granted, will our shopping experiences be somewhat altered? The ability to be safe in public if in some ways could determine over time our shopping habits.


Weather, hot days, cold days have always delivered some incentives for online shopping but perhaps in the future we will see safety driving digital sales? 


Companies like Amazon have so many great things to boast about but like everything where change is possible a catalyst is necessary. Lets hope that our personal safety never becomes the driving force to bring about retail or any change.

It will be interesting in this, an election year to see how we see the future of so many things we never thought much about like shopping. Some will always love the touch or smell of an item before a purchase but we have to wonder at what point the fear of violence could play an active role in our everyday shopping decisions.

Most of us believe companies like Amazon will continue to thrive based on price and convenience but what will that next big thing evolve into. What will become the next driving force for digital? I wonder these days with all they we see on the news, if any of these digital retail giants will turn to safety as part of the offering....

In closing, many have asked why I choose to write about what I see in the supermarket industry today and my ideas. At Adlife we believe great ideas and its resulting branding will give new life and direction to any company. So for that reason we chose to open the discussion. This Article is one of my opinion on what is today a grocery industry in transition.
